The Department of Justice (DOJ) is meticulously crafting a briefer, a dossier of sorts, to elucidate the legal avenues available to him should the International Criminal Court (ICC) brandish the sword of justice.
As whispers of potential ICC arrest warrants waft through the air like an ominous fog, Justice spokesperson Assistant Secretary Mico Clavano steps forward to shed some light on the impending tempest. He assures the public that the briefer will be an impartial analysis, a compass guiding Marcos through treacherous waters, weighing the pros and cons of each option with the gravity of a nation’s destiny hanging in the balance.
Former senator Antonio Trillanes IV, like a harbinger of doom, paints a chilling portrait of the ICC’s intentions, alleging that the specter of arrest warrants may soon materialize, casting shadows over high-ranking figures in the Duterte administration’s tumultuous past.
Yet, amidst the tumult, Marcos defiantly declares his government’s rejection of any ICC warrants, his voice a clarion call echoing through the chambers of power.
